The first day of the annual seminar was devoted to Marmasthana, the teaching about marmas. Not so long ago, this knowledge was unavailable to common people. In India the knowledge of Marmasthana is mainly applied in medicine and only very few have this art at their fingertips. To be able to work on marmas (points of death in oriental martial practices or points of life in yoga) one has to have a calm and peaceful mind. Don’t try to apply Marmasthana if you are in the state of mind called mudha – you may get yourself in serious trouble.
